Zoom-Be 3, the third dungeon-crawl platformer in the Zoom-Be series, picks up with the boys finally inside the evil organization's headquarters. They feel strongly that they need to reach the control room to learn more about the project that changed them forever. The player's goal is to help them search from building to building across 20 levels for the main one that houses the room. If they perform well, the characters reach it, and an astounding event takes place. The player also unlocks a special star bonus level.

The player or players can direct the zombie friends to perform many of the same feats as in the previous game, such as opening doors and pressing buttons. The larger friend primarily kicks things to remove obstacles, while the smaller friend crouches low, jumps high and moves quickly. In this installment, the two friends face new challenges. For example, they need to retrieve different colored keycards to disengage electronic door locks.

Zoom-Be 3 offers a head gear collection challenge like the previous game. The player or players can collect a pair of animal masks, animal-shaped hats, cowboy hats, horned helmets, goggles and even items typically worn by burglars or thieves.

Keyboard: Zoom-Be 3 requires a laptop keyboard or a separate wired or wireless one. To make the larger zombie move left, right, up and down within a level (Player 1), press the Arrows. To make the smaller zombie move within a level (Player 2), press the WASD keys.

Mobile: Tap to interact with the onscreen interface elements.
